About the Role
Manhattan Integrative Psychiatry is seeking a highly motivated, independent, and entrepreneurial PA-BC or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our referral-based practice serving a discerning clientele in New York City.
We take a thoughtful, whole-person approach to mental health. We combine evidence-based medication management with lab testing, lifestyle support, and integrative tools to help our patients heal at the root.
We’re looking for a licensed PA-BC or PMHNP who is experienced in psychiatric medication management and either has a background in integrative psychiatry or a strong desire to grow into it.
We value clinicians who take the time to truly understand their patients and build care plans that go beyond symptom control.
Curiosity, Caring and Common Sense
At least 3000 hours of experience providing medication management with psychotherapy to psychiatric patient population in outpatient setting
Confidence and comfort with comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations
Strong background knowledge of pathophysiology of mental illness, mechanism of action and side effect profile of psychiatric medications
Familiarity with integrative approach and at least basic knowledge of non-pharmaceutical forms of treatment
Passion for learning, growth and self-development
Buprenorphine certification is a strong plus
Aetna participation is helpful
Prerequisites:
Part-time (8–16 hours/week) with potential to grow
Earn $150-$180 an hour
Full back office support (scheduling, insurance billing, patient billing and collection) is provided
Telehealth platform and equipment (laptop) provided
Peer supervision is available
Fully remote at this time with plans to transition to hybrid later this year
