I believe that the core of nursing is the holistic view of a patient. My years of experience in direct patient care across multiple areas, mainly Oncology and Infusion has strengthened my ability to recognize this. I use the holistic perspective to care for patients in a manner that is medically comprehensive, but also realistic and achievable for the individual. I have a passion to teach patients and members of my community how to care for their whole being, not just their parts. Patient’s deserve treatments and care that are tailored to their specific lifestyle, physical, mental and spiritual needs, helping them understand its purpose.
